I am originally from Edison New Jersey, attended St. Josephs HS (Brothers of the Sacred Heart) in Metuchen and Rutgers University.
I have formal training in architectural studies at The Institute of Design and Construction in Brooklyn NYC.
Several years after attending IDC I designed and built a house in Sagaponack New York in 2011.
I participated in the EST training in the 1990s, completing the "Introduction to The Forum Leaders Program" and "Six Day" program.
My first business venture in Manhattan in the 80's was an interior renovation and design company. Some of those projects brought me to Tudor City where I purchased my first apartment in 1987 in Windsor Tower where I currently reside.
By 1994 many of the Tudor City renovation clientele also required real estate services. These business relationships formed the basis of "Steven Corcoran Real Estate", and I moved from the interiors business into real estate sales.
"TudorCity.Com" was created to focus on the marketing of Tudor City properties.
Over the years I've gained a perspective and appreciation for the sometimes trying nature of property searches and renovations.
I am an avid golfer and enjoy a wide selection of musical artists and styles. I have played keyboards in various venues from our local church pipe organ growing up in NJ, to Ragtime in a Brooklyn bar.
My affinity for the personal nature of housing is what I bring to my real estate brokerage. I have 25 years of experience in Real Estate sales and marketing.
"Steven Corcoran Real Estate LLC" is a member broker of the Real Estate Board of NY (Rebny), our office is in the lobby of 5 Tudor City Place.
